when I try to make a new mod for DS, the head gets stuck in the middle of the car, it wont move from the center console no matter what I do, I've tried redoing the drivers from scratch. same result...

Have you set a Wheel-Position in Lights Tab of MTKit in dr_vl01_1.mox?

Otherwise, You wont get a correct head position

Oh, it was obvious very late yesterday.
You need to set a Towing Point (TP)

actually mate it's all good now, head is in perfect position.. however is this there a way, to add custom heads, instead of "ben and semir" as my drivers are not "standard" lol.

Heads are assigned with Scripts (eg. Missions/GlobalFunctions.lc for free ride). Furthermore, they are assigned randomly, which means that the Heads named in the according script (Bens and Semirs Head for free ride) are global for all cars who are dealing with the current script; and - as soon there are more than one head-possibilities (Semir and Ben = 2 heads) its just random

So it is not possible these days to create a custom head, just for one (or your) cars.

However, it is possible to edit the script in a Hexview-Editor to get the results you are looking for. But in this case, it might be easier for you just to replace one of the heads.
